Private Lessons & Live Conversation Practice (via ZOOM or Phone)

Private lessons and live conversation practice for American English pronunciation, accent reduction, and American English speaking are available one-to-one with the instructor on Zoom video chat or by phone (your choice). This is the best way to get individual help and personal attention so you can improve specific areas or fix any issues that are causing you trouble when you speak. Private lessons are live one-to-one sessions via live video chat or phone with just you and the instructor. All private lessons must be paid and scheduled in advance. Individual training and practice talking on the phone for American English pronunciation and speaking is a perfect compliment to the accent reduction classes in the online course.

The cost is $150 USD for each 1-to-1 private lesson, and each lesson is one hour in duration. Click below to pay to register. You can pay for just one Zoom or phone lesson, or multiple Zoom or phone lessons at once by increasing the amount at the bottom. After your payment is received, we will contact you by email to schedule the private Zoom or phone session at a time that works for both you and the instructor.

When you schedule the first private Zoom or phone lesson, please provide as much information as possible about your prior experience learning English, whether you would prefer Zoom video chat or phone, what you would like help with, and your goals. The instructor will listen and talk to you about your priorities and goals at your first lesson, and also provide conversation practice as well as make a brief assessment of your speaking abilities.

Private Lessons Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds after you have paid to schedule a private lesson, please respect that you are taking someone else’s spot. Once you confirm and agree to the scheduled time of the private Zoom or phone lesson, 24 hours advance notice is required to cancel. We may reschedule the private Zoom or phone lesson or issue a one-time credit for a cancellation if you give notice of the cancellation at least 24 hours in advance. We cannot reschedule, credit or refund any private Zoom or phone lesson that is missed or cancelled within 24 hours of the Zoom or phone lesson start time. Thank you for understanding. If the instructor ever cancels or has technical difficulties which prevent the scheduled Zoom or phone session from taking place, we will reschedule and credit you for another free private Zoom or phone session.
